Kennt í Kramhúsinu á sunnudögum kl. 13.00-14.30.
1. tímabil: 31. ágúst – 12. okt (7 vikur)
2. tímabil: 26. okt – 7. des (7 vikur)
Meginmarkmið kennslu á miðstigi er að öðlast meira öryggi í því sem þið hafið lært ásamt því að halda áfram að byggja upp skrefabankann. Við kynnum ný koreografisk element s.s. barrida, gancho og sacada og leggjum áherslu á endurtekningar og að tengja það það nýja við það sem nemendur kunna fyrir. Vals og/eða milonga er á dagskránni á hverju tímabili.

Kennt í Danshöllinni Mjódd, á þriðjudögum kl. 20.00-21.30.
1. tímabil: 26. ágúst – 7. okt (7 vikur)
2. tímabil: 28. okt. – 9. des (7 vikur)
Meginmarkmið kennslu á miðstigi 3 er að auka gæði dansins og færni í social dansi, þar sem hefðir, hugmyndir og saga tangósins eru einnig á dagskrá. Við förum dýpra í grunn tangódansins og koregrafisk element, s.s. sacada, barrida, gancho og boleo. Við leggjum aukna áherslu á tónlistartúlkun, samdans svo og tækni. Vals og/eða milonga er á dagskránni á hverju tímabili.

The main goal of the teaching at Intermediate level is to gain more confidence in what you have learned before as well as continuing to build the repertoire. We will introduce new choreographic elements such as barrida, gancho and sacada, and emphasize repetition and how to connect the new steps with what the students already know. Vals and/or milonga are on the program every season.

Intermediate 3 suits those who have danced for 2 years or more.
Taught in Danshöllin Mjódd on Tuesdays at 20.00-21.30,
1. period: August 26th – October 7th (7 weeks)
2. period: October 28th – December 9th (7 weeks)
The main goal of teaching at intermediate level 3 is to increase the quality of the dance and skills in social dance, where the traditions, ideas and history of tango are also on the agenda. We dig deeper into basics and choreographic elements, e.g. sacada, barrida, gancho and boleo. We place greater emphasis on musical interpretation and co-creation as well as technique. Vals and/or milonga are on the program every season.
