Taught at Kramhúsið on Sundays at 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
The main goal of teaching at intermediate level 2-3 is to increase the quality of the dance and skills in social dancing, and gain more confidence in what you have learned. We go deeper into the basics and choreographic elements, such as boleo, sacada, barrida, gancho and more. We place increased emphasis on musical interpretation, partner connection as well as technique. Waltz and/or milonga is on the schedule for each term.

Tuesdays
Intermediate 1 is suitable for those who have completed three beginner levels.
Autumn term: August 25 – Sept 29, 2026.
Taught at Danshöllin Mjódd on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM – 7:50 PM.
The goal of teaching at the intermediate level is to strengthen confidence in what students have already learned and continue to build the step vocabulary. New themes will be introduced such as barrida, gancho and sacada, with an emphasis on flow and connecting new steps to previous knowledge. Waltz and/or milonga are on the schedule for each term.
