Fyrir reynda dansara sem hafa sótt í kennslu í þrjú ár og lengur og dansa reglulega. Gert er ráð fyrir að nemendur í þessum hópi hafi góðan grunn, þekki helstu koreografísku elementin og hafi æft tónlistartúlkun.
Kennt í Kramhúsinu á sunnudögum kl. 14.40-16.10
1. tímabil: 31. ágúst – 12. október (7 vikur)
2. tímabil: 26. okt – 7. des (7 vikur)
Á advanced stigi leggjum við áherslu á gæði dansins og förum dýpra í grunninn að því markmiði að öðlast meiri nákvæmni, betri tækni, fallegri stíl og fjölbreytni í dansinum. Tónlistartúlkun við mismunandi tónlist bæði með einfaldari og flóknari skrefum er stór þáttur í kennslu á þessu stigi. Við vinnum með breytingar á dynamík og ýmis kóreografisk element, s.s , sacada, boleo, volgada, colgada svo og fjölbreyttar skrefasamsetningar. Vals og/eða milonga er á dagskránni á hverju tímabili.

Advanced level lessons, August – December 2025
For experienced dancers who have attended lessons for at least three years or more and dance regularly. It is assumed that students in this group have a good foundation, know the main choreographic elements and have practiced musical interpretation.
Taught in Kramhusid on Sundays at 14.40-16.10
1. period: August 31 – October 12 (7 weeks)
2. period: October 26 – December 7 (7 weeks)
At the advanced level, we emphasize the quality of the dance and go deeper into the basics with the goal of gaining greater precision, better technique, more beautiful style, and variety in the dance. Musical interpretation to different music with both simpler and more complex steps is an important part of the teaching at this level. We work with changes in dynamics and various choreographic elements, such as sacada, boleo, volgada, colgada as well as diverse step combinations. Waltz and/or milonga are on the program each season.
