At Tangostúdíó, we teach Argentine tango – a dance that has always held a special place in partner dancing. Tango comes from Buenos Aires, Argentina, the cradle of this unique dance. Argentine tango combines dance, music, and poetry, and has become a lifelong hobby and passion for many.

Tango is improvisation, so every dance is unique and steps aren’t necessarily repeated the same way over and over; instead, it’s created as the couple dances together. The improvisation is based on basic steps but also features countless elements that can create added depth, fluidity, and power, which is exactly what makes the dance so interesting and exciting.

Tango is a social dance; people meet at tango venues, called Milongas, to dance tango. Argentine tango has conquered the world, and today you can dance it in every corner of the globe.
